Man is a miserable being/Takeshi Kawamura
We have been rehearsing the play, "Dojoji", day after day for performances in Romania and Republic of Moldova.
The theme of "Dojoji" is the beauty and the fear of women,I think so.
In that story man is a miserable being, because the character is trampled down and even burned by woman.
Generally speaking, world-wide image of japanese woman is gentle and modest.
She always pays due respect to man, never walks ahead of man.
But now it's quite old concept just as you think Samurai and Ninja are still in Japan.
The heroine of "Dojoji" is deceived by her lover and bears a grudge against him. She changes into serpent after all. It's incarnation of passions.
Actually we can't change ourselves into serpent, we'll show you somehow by our physical expression on stage.
I'm sure that your impression of Japanese woman should be changed after enjoying our performance.
